- רַקַּת(b. h.) pr. n. pl. Rakkath, a fortified town of Naftali. Meg.6a ר׳ זר ציפורי … כרקתאוכ׳ R. is Sepphoris, and its name was Rakkath, because it lies high like the banks of a river.
